| Abstract |
EPA and the four Pacific Northwest States of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington joined together to assess current and future issues and to explore the opportunities associated with hazardous waste in the Pacific Northwest, the report explores data/capacity assessment, waste reduction and siting of new facilities. Recommendations include establishing a Pacific Northwest Hazardous Waste Advisory Council, developing a waste reduction strategy, performing additional analysis of regional wastestream and improving Northwest data collection systems. |
