AIRS Executive Plus lets you explore summaries of air pollution data for the United States and 50 nations. Like AIRS Executive, AIRS Executive Plus is designed to provide quick access to a subset of air pollution information. Managers, supervisors, and non-technical staff will find it especially helpful in obtaining easy-to-read summaries of air pollution data. Take a laptop to a meeting, for example, and air pollution data is readily at your fingertips. Non-technical users also will find AIRS Executive Plus to be an invaluable resource in obtaining air pollution information regarding their communities. AIRS Executive Plus includes ambient air quality summaries from monitoring sites, plus estimates of air pollutant emissions from large stationary sources in the United States and Internationally. This data comes from EPA's AIRS database and is provided by the states and the World Health Organization (WHO). It also includes the National Emissions Trends (NET) database used to develop the annual National Air Pollutant Emission Trends Report. This is a summary of pollution data. The US AIRS data is provided by each state from Point sources. It is not modified in any way by the EPA. The International AIRS data is provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) for member countries. The NET data is provided by the states and is expanded by EPA. The data is obtained from Point, Area and Mobil sources. |
