Abstract | The decision document presents the selected remedial action for the Agate Lake Scrap Yard Site in Fairview Township, Minnesota. The selected remedial action for the Agate Lake Scrap Yard site addresses only the groundwater contamination. The major components of the selected remedial action include: Institutional controls that prevent installation of drinking water wells within the vicinity of the contaminated ground water boundaries and disturbances of fill material until health based remedial action goals have been achieved; Installation of four additional wells and a ground water monitoring program to confirm the adequacy of the natural attenuation of residual contaminated ground water. |
