Abstract |
This decision document describes a fundamental change to the ground-water restoration approach presented in the June 1991 Record of Decision (ROD) for the Arlington Blending and Packaging Site (Site). As the result of information developed since the original ROD was finalized, EPA Region 4 has decided to employ monitored natural attenuation as the new Selected Remedy. Site-specific characterization data indicated that shallow aquifer ground-water plumes flowing beneath the downgradient of the Site do not pose a realistic threat to human health or the environment. |
