Abstract |
Detailed descriptions are given of sampling and analytical methods used to identify and quantify trace organic compounds present in the finished (i.e., treated) water of the New Orleans, Louisiana area water supply, specifically the Carrollton Water Plant (City of New Orleans), Jefferson Parish No. 1 Water Plant (Metairie) and the Jefferson Parish No. 2 Water Plant (Marrero). Organic compound identifications and concentrations are presented in Table 2. Methods of analysis of carbon and resin extracts are presented in the Appendix. |
