Abstract | Propazine (139-40-2) was evaluated for developmental toxicity. It was administered in pregnant albino rats (number/group was not reported) dosed with 0, 300, 600, 800, or 1000 mg/kg/day of body weight by oral gavage. Signs of toxicity included reduced body weights and increased incidence of clinical signs. An increase in the number of early resorptions, reduction in the number of viable fetuses, and reduction of fetal weights were observed. This study was briefly summarized. No further information was reported. |
