Abstract |
The properties of tritium are briefly reviewed, and the potential problem resulting from tritium production in power reactors is surveyed. It is seen that in about two decades the rate of production and the increasing world inventory may dictate controlled storage of tritated waters. The known methods for deuterium separation (heavy water production) have been surveyed and then considered for tritium separation. |
