Abstract |
For the purpose of establishing effluent limitations and standards of performance for the calcium carbide industry, the industry has been categorized on the basis of the types of furnaces, air pollution control equipment installed, raw materials and water uses. The categories are as follows: Covered Calcium Carbide Furnaces with Wet Air Pollution Control Devices; and Other Calcium Carbide Furnaces. |
