Abstract
This volume addresses the supply/demand/price impacts for each of the pulp and paper industry's major product sectors. It brings together all the descriptive information, data, and econometric analyses which were applied to estimate the price/demand effects of the studied environmental regulations and the potential for short-run shortages. It describes the economic characteristics of each product sector in sufficient detail to allow readers unfamiliar with the industry to understand its key economic characteristics and how price increases caused by regulations and accompanying restrictions in potential demand compare with historical price, demand and supply trends.
