Abstract | This report provides a disaggregated particulate matter emissions inventory suitable for use in both base year and projection year air quality dispersion modeling required for the Syracuse AQMA. The allocation and projection methodology is essentially that of volumes 7 and 13 of the Guidelines for Air Quality Maintenance Planning series (U.S. EPA). Allocations were made for population, transportation, commercial/institutional, industrial, and solid waste-based emissions. The study results clearly indicate that the dominant sources of particulate emissions in Onondaga County are industrial process and fuel point sources. |
