Abstract |
This decision document presents the selected remedial action for Site 12 Chemical Burn Area at the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Dahlgren Site (NSWCDL) Dahlgren, Virginia. The remedial action selected in this Record of Decision (ROD) addresses contamination associated with Site 12 Chemical Burn Area contents, surface soils, subsurface soils and groundwater. The selected remedy for Site 12 is to remove volatile organic contaminants from groundwater and soils using an air sparging/soil vapor extraction system (AS/SVE), and provide institutional controls, and groundwater, surface water, and sediment monitoring. No action is required for surface soils at Site 12. |
