Abstract |
Since their inception in 1971, the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP's) have been expanded or revised 69 times with an additional 13 changes proposed. This document is a compilation of all Federal Register activity related to the NESHAP's since 1971 and supercedes all previous compilations. Section I is an introduction to the standards, explaining their purpose and interpreting the working concepts which have developed through their implementation. Section II contains a 'quick-look' summary of each standard, including the dates of proposal, promulgation, and any subsequent revisions. Section III is the complete standards with all amendments incorporated into the material. Section IV contains the full text of all revisions, including the preamble which explains the rationale behind each revision. Section V is all proposed amendments to the standards. |
