Abstract |
Under authority of the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments, a National Emission Standard of Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) is being proposed to control methylene chloride, perchloroethylene, trichloroethylene, trichloroethane, and CFC-113 emissions from facilities with halogenated solvent cleaners. Thirty-eight (38) 3-digit and one (1) 2-digit SIC industries were evaluated. The report analyzes economic and financial impacts at the selected regulatory alternatives for facilities with positive costs as a result of complying with the proposed standard. |
