Abstract |
The report presents results of observational surveys of the bacterial efficiency of certain municipal water-purification plants. These were made by the Public Health Service in connection with a comprehensive study of the relations existing between the pollution of raw water supplies, taken for purification from streams receiving sewage and other wastes, and the sanitary quality of effluents produced from such sources of supply by current processes of water purification. |
