Abstract |
This paper describes the status of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's program to develop dispersion models with demonstrated improved reliability for large sources in complex terrain. Due to finite resources, the initial effort focuses on modeling maximum one-hour concentrations on prominent terrain obstacles impacted by stable plumes. Workshop recommendations on the foregoing problem and other considerations in formulating a project plan are discussed along with the future direction of the program. |
