| Abstract | The stated objective of the conference, 'Neurotoxicology in the Fetus and Child', was to present papers and focus discussions on both clinical and experimental issues related to the effects of environmental influences on the structure and function of the developing organism. Summarizing remarks focus on three general issues which were repeatedly emphasized throughout the conference: (1) the need for research in this area; (2) the types of research which are currently being conducted; (3) future research needs. |
