Abstract
The Microbiology Subcommittee of the Drinking Water Laboratory Certification Implementation Work Group has revised Chapter V of the Manual for the Interim Certification of Laboratories Involved in Analyzing Public Drinking Water Supplies. The technical criteria for Chapter V are divided into two sections, Critical Elements and Recommended Practices. Only the Critical Elements will be used to determine certification status. Critical Elements and Recommended Practices are described and discussed.
