Abstract |
The purpose of this Environmental Assessment is to estimate the environmental impact of industrial laundry discharges on waterbodies and POTWs under both current conditions and conditions corresponding to three regulatory options. First, EPA established a baseline of environmental effects by modeling current pollutant discharges from industrial laundries. Then, EPA modeled changes in pollution loading corresponding to the implementation of various regulatory options to estimate how environmental effects would change with the regulation of industrial laundry discharges. |
