| Abstract |
The report sets forth the objectives of the current water-resources planning activity in Alabama. The fundamental objective - to assure the development of the water resources of the State in the interest of all its people - is obvious and requires little discussion or elaboration. The subsidiary objectives are necessary steps toward the achievement of the fundamental objective. Each of them is discussed at some length to clearly present its scope and intent. They will all require positive constructive action during the course of which there may appear alternatives to some of the procedures suggested. (Author) |
