Abstract
The report is a computerized data base on primary fine particle emissions to the atmosphere from stationary sources, a basic reference manual designed to assist engineers and scientists engaged in fine particle control technology development. The FPEIS will contain source test data including particle size distributions; chemical, physical, and bioassay testing results performed on particulate samples; design and typical operating data on particle control systems applied; process descriptions of the sources; and descriptions of the sampling equipment and techniques employed. It identifies and discusses the input data requirements and protocol. For reference, it includes a list of available information request procedures, and describes the general data base management system used to implement the FPEIS.
