Abstract |
An incinerator is a steel or a refractory chamber whose purpose is to destroy domestic and industrial wastes by burning. In the report a summary is presented of: (1) the modelling and similarity principles and their application to the modelling of combustion chambers; and (2) the mixing studies whose results can explain the mixing behavior of jets in furnaces and incinerators. |
