Abstract |
The article describes basic incineration technology. Terminology is defined and EPA's regulations stated. The universe of incinerated and incinerable waste is described. Technology descriptions are provided for liquid injection incineration, rotary kiln incineration, at-sea incineration, industrial boiler disposal, and cement kiln combustion advantages and disadvantages of each approach are given. |
