Consists of 515 documents (papers or abstracts), representing all platform talks and poster presentations given at the Symposium. The documents encompass the major themes in bioremediation today, including remediation of soil, groundwater, sediments, and landfills contaminated by metals, PAH compounds, PCBs and dioxins, nitrates and energetics, perchlorates, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum products and additives. Technologies and approaces addressed include bioaugmentation and biostimulation to enhance intrinsic microbial processes; phytoremediation; bioremediation used in concert with physical/chemical processes; and risk and regulatory issues. |
