Abstract |
In southwestern Tennessee the Mississippi River is a navigable, interstate stream. Three of its tributaries, Nonconnah Creek and the Loosahatchie and Wolf Rivers, are degraded by industrial and domestic wastewater as they flow through the metropolitan area of Memphis, Tennessee. A survey was conducted in February 1972, and the results given. |
