Rate constants for the gas-phase reactions of OH radicals with biphenyl and the monochlorobiphenyls have been determined, using a relative rate technique, in one atmosphere of air at 295 + or - 1K. These rate constants are compared with the available reported data, and the atmospheric implications discussed.
