Abstract |
The EPA's Office of Solid Waste is currently developing additional regulations to control emissions of particulate matter, toxic metals and hydrochloric acid (HC1) from hazardous waste incinerators. Emissions data was collected to support these regulations; testing was conducted on two pilot-scale air pollution control systems installed and operated in Tulsa, OK. The test program took place between March 28 and April 4, 1989. The report represents the results of the testing program and describes the processes involved as well as the testing and analytical methods used. The primary objective of the test program was to collect particulate and toxic metals removal efficiency and emissions data for two pilot-scale air pollution control systems--hydro-sonic wet scrubber; and beltran two-stage electrostatic precipitator. |
