Abstract |
Waterborne outbreaks occur because of inadequacies in water systems and deficiencies in their operation. Unless needed improvements are made in both public and private water systems, it is expected that a residual number of outbreaks will continue to occur in this country. The disinfection of ground water systems would be a relatively easy and simple means to reduce waterborne disease. |
