Abstract
This fact sheet summarizes the information in the RED document for reregistration case 0265, methyl sulfanilylcarbamate and sodium salt of methyl sulfanilycarbamate, commonly known as asulam. Asulam is a selective postemergent systemic carbamate herbicide used to control a variety of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds on sugarcane, Christmas tree plantations, ornamentals, turf (St. Augustinegrass and Bermudagrass) and non-cropland uses (boundary fences, fencerows, hedgerows, lumberyards, storage areas and industrial plant sites, and warehouse lots).
