Abstract |
The extensive use of rivers as a sink for heated effluents from thermal power plants has created widespread concern for the aquatic life in these waterways. The present study is an attempt to determine relevant parameters that can be used in the prediction of vertical mixing of heated surface effluents in the far-field mixing region.
