Abstract | The report presents the conclusions and recommendations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Science Advisory Board following a review of EPA's Ecological Risk Assessment Research Program. The Subcommittee considered that the Ecorisk research program was fundamental to support the Agency's extensive need in ecological risk assessment; however, they felt that the funding and the scope of the current program were inadequate. They recommended expanded efforts on methodologies for population, community, ecosystem, and landscape level assessments and on quantifying uncertainty of risk estimation. |
