This training module lists the statutory authorities for corrective action and explains their application; identifies the existing regulatory authorities for corrective action, and explains their application; describes the primary triggers for corrective action; defines terms that are specific to the corrective action process (e.g., solid waste management units and action levels); describes how EPA is currently implementing the corrective action program and identifies significant components of the RCRA Cleanup Reforms; describes how the corrective action program can apply to generators and other facilities that do not require a permit. |
