Abstract |
This report presents a preliminary screening technique by which a large number of potentially hazardous compounds can be numerically ranked using readily available information on health effects and release to the ambient air. Factors considered are oncogenicity, mutagenicity, reproduction and developmental toxicity, acute lethality, effects other than acute lethality, production volume, vapor pressure, bioaccumulation and existing standards. |
