Abstract
The study assessed the present status of international numerical models as a tool for ground-water related water resource management. Among the problem areas considered are: The accessibility of models to users; communications between managers and technical personnel; inadequacies of data; and inadequacies in modeling. The report, which is directed toward the nontechnical reader, describes 250 models. These are categorized as prediction, management, identification, and data management models.
