Abstract |
Bromochloroacetic acid, dibromochloroacetic acid, and bromodichloroacetic acid, are expected to occur in drinking water as a result of chlorination of raw water of high bromide ion contents. Since these acids represent a potential health hazard an investigation was done to synthesize and identify them by gas chromatography mass-spectrometry (GC/MS). |
