Abstract
Air pollution control technologies for the control of particulate emissions from non-metallic mineral processing plants are evaluated. Specific control technologies considered include the use of local ventilation followed by fabric filter collection and wet dust suppression techniques. Performance data based on mass particulate measurements and visual observations are presented. In addition, the capital and annualized emission control costs for several model plant sizes are estimated.
