Abstract |
In order to operate a treatment, storage, or disposal facilitiy (TSDF), an owner/operator must be able to demonstrate that funds will be available to properly close the facility and provide post-closure care. A TSDF owner/operator also needs to have funds available to cover costs when there is an accident at the facility. The training module addresses the financial assurance standards, explaining first the allowable financial mechanisms and then the extent of financial coverage required. |
