Abstract |
The report covers four specific areas related to the existing interstate standards for control of pollution in the Delaware River Basin. These four areas are: (1) present water quality condition of the Estuary; (2) present degree of compliance with the quantitative aspects of the interstate standards; (3) effect on the quality of the river if literal compliance with the quantitative aspects of the standards were adhered to everywhere; and (4) estimates of what changes must be sought in present levels of waste treatment to meet the 50% DO saturation goal set by the standards for Zone III (Pennypack Creek to the Pennsylvania-Delaware State Line. |
