Abstract | Students and faculty at Springfield College, Massachusetts, investigated ways urban colleges can study surface waters so they can become better leaders in conservation, helping crowded communities appreciate and adapt more positively to their natural resources, especially water. College students experimented in finding ways to use local wetlands and water bodies as stimulating environments to complement indoor educational facilities. (Author) |
