Abstract |
The paper is based on a project entitled A Review of the Statistical Methods for the Evaluation of Atmospheric Deposition Influences on Forests (ADIF/STAT). Because statistics consist of the studies of the general methods of inference for scientific research, thorough presentation must encompass an understanding of the entire scientific problem as well as the statistical methods used to evaluate the problem. Therefore, researchers considered the general conceptual basis of the research, problems of experimental design, and problems of interpretation, as well as statistical methods. In particular, they are attempting to understand the relationship between studies of atmospheric deposition and the general problems of forest ecology. |
