Abstract | Objective of study defined as follows: (1) to define and analyze technical, organizational and regulating ways and means for the proper disposal of hazardous wastes, (2) to compile and evaluate various management approaches to the solution of the hazardous waste problem, and (3) to draw conclusions from the previous analysis and work out recommendations where possible. The conclusion, after seven years of intensive work, is that the pilot study is thus far the most comprehensive and effective international effort in the area of hazardous waste management. |
