Abstract | In the coming decades, increasing concentrations of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases will warm the earth's atmosphere. This could mean both an increase in global sea level and changes in precipitation patterns. A joint report by the EPA and the Delaware River Basin Commission examines the implications of a repeat of the 1960's drought combined with both a 21 inch and a 7 foot scenario of sea level rise. Planning should not wait until uncertainties about sea level rise are eliminated. |
