Abstract
Information was sought concerning reactions of isopropoxy radicals with nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide. Isopropyl nitrate was photodissociated in the presence of oxides of nitrogen and an inert gas. The reaction was found to be less important than the alkoxy radical NO reactions. The ratio of disproportion to recombination of isopropoxy and NO was found to be smaller than the published value (0.12 versus .15).
