Abstract |
An in situ benthal respirometer was utilized to determine benthal oxygen demands on the Passaic river near Little Falls, New Jersey. Different deposits on the stream were examined for exhibited demands. These demands were then examined from the viewpoint of their effects upon the overall stream oxygen balance. The data are presented in tabular and graphic forms. |
