Abstract |
The report discusses the extent to which ecological concerns have been used as a basis for decisionmaking in the CERCLA and RCRA programs. For each program, the report first identifies areas in which ecological impacts could be considered, and then examines the manner and extent to which ecological concerns have, in fact, been taken into account in program activities. The report concludes with discussion of the major ecological risk management issues that should be addressed by the Agency if ecological concerns are to be fully considered in the RCRA/CERCLA decisionmaking. |
