Abstract |
This study was conducted to evaluate the potential of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) to affect the preovulatory luteinizing hormone (LH) surge in overiectomized female rats. In order to synchronize the estrous cycles of the females, the animals were ovariectomized and treated with estradiol via a subcutaneous implant. |
