Abstract |
This report presents the results of an examination of remedy selection at Federal Facility Superfund sites on the National Priorities List (NPL). Particular emphasis was placed on the relationship between potential future land use at the sites and the role that it plays in determining the nature of the remedy. Other factors affecting remedy selection and the types of remedies and their costs were also examined. The data collection covered approximately 98 percent of the interim and final source control Records of Decision (RODs) that had been signed at Federal Facilities on the NPL from the beginning of the Superfund program through August 1995. |
