Abstract |
This module defines the basic terms and describe the structure of the LDR regulations; identifies the statutory basis for LDR; describes the applicability of LDR; explains how EPA sets treatment standards; identifies treatment standards for wastes subject to land disposal restrictions and cite the CFR section; describes and identifies how extensions and variances from treatment requirements are obtained, including Federal Register citations; Defines generator and treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSDF) requirements under the LDR program; and summarizes the schedule of existing restrictions and the plan for restricting newly identified wastes. |
