Abstract | The site name is Oil Disposal Area Northwest, Site 5, Operable Unit (OU) 2 at Naval Air Station (NAS) Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida. This decision document presents the selected interim remedial action for source control at Site 5, the Oil Disposal Area Northwest. The preferred alternative for source control at Site 5 is Alternative RA-2, excavation and onsite biological treatment of contaminated soil, which was developed and evaluated in the Focused Feasibility Study (FFS). |
