Abstract
The Guidelines contain recommended oil-burner adjustment procedures for commercial boilers to minimize air pollution and for efficient fuel use. They are intended for use by skilled service technicians in adjusting commercial oil-fired boilers, and as an aid to service managers engaged in training service technicians. In addition to recommended steps for burner adjustment, the Guidelines include appendixes of background material on pollutants of main concern, field-type instruments and significance of measurements, fuel-oil grades, and emission characteristics of commercial boilers.
