Abstract | Water quality information is presented here for four geographical areas: The Upper Colorado River Main Stem; Price River System; Gunnison-Uncompahgre River Systems; and The San Juan River System. Water quality characteristics examined were dissolved oxygen, coliform bacteria, Salmonella bacteria, specific conductance, and metals. Water uses considered were public water supply, water contact recreation, fish and aquatic life, and agricultural and industrial water supply. All sampling was conducted within Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. |
